In Brazil the biggest thing is: what is your wifi password?

Someone arriving in a Brazilian household, before saying hello, the first question is: what is your wifi password?
The mobiles are in for even the under-teens. A sign of the times?
Samsung seems to be more popular than the iPhone there, possibly as Samsung is more affordable.

One story I heard that really tickled my funny-bone:
A man was going to a funeral. Arriving there he turned to the man beside him and asked:
“Do you know the wifi password here?”
The man in disgust responded:
“Respect the dead!”
The first man turned to his phone without answering, but after a while turned back and said “It didn’t work, do you know if there is a number after that? Is it lowercase?”

That is Brazil these days!
No wifi?
Use the big ears!
